Everyone--

Tuesday April 5 will be all about branding. We will have a guest lecturer, Ed Penniman, who's been in the logo and branding business for over 25 years. He will do a presentation on these topics and techniques, after which he will then review all your branding palettes.

In preparation for this, all teams should email a single-page PDF or powerpoint presentation (or keynote) that shows their full set of design elements: logo (all forms you've created), color palettes, and fonts. These are to be turned in on Monday, April 4!!! (Do not send these to my Tuesday, as he will not have a chance to review them then.) If you would like me to review these with you in time for you to make changes, send them to me by Friday, April 1.

I've attached a prototype PDF that demonstrates the kind of document you should produce. It illustrates a logo, a background (optional), company name, "tag line" (optional), font names, color palette, and a sample stationary page (in this case, an invoice). Note, this sample is just to demonstrate layout -- you can do anything you like, so long as you include the elements. Note that many companies have many different versions of their logos and color selections. Don't feel like you have to copy what I've done.
