Hey all --<br>I'm glad to announce that awards are finally settling out. <br><ul><li>First prize is $10,000. I'll keep you posted on other prizes as they come in.</li><li>Money is to be distributed to teams according to the formulas that you, as a team, agree on.</li>
<li>Note that you can still distribute money to non-team members for their participation (for example, they may have helped you make a video, or were instrumental in an important way).Remember the expression, "Pigs get fat. Hogs get slaughtered." In other words, if you keep it all for yourself, you'll get fat, but won't survive long because people won't want to work with you.</li>
<li>There were some teams considering dropping out of the competition, but didn't want to miss out on the classes, feedback and other benefits. Note that you can drop out and STILL attend the classes and the competition without having to be a presenter.</li>
<li>There will be NO FEEDBACK during the finals. The judges merely vote. All teams that present will be ranked.</li><li>The Santa Cruz Sentinel will be present (and very likely high profile campus people), and results will be published.<br>
