<span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">We are excited to announce the second edition of the conference “Building Galaxies from Scratch: Advances and Challenges in Simulating Galaxy Evolution (BUGS2026)” which will take place in Heidelberg,
Germany, from September 7–11, 2026.</span><br style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">

<span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">We aim to bring together experts on various aspects of modeling galaxy formation and evolution with a focus on cosmological simulations, in order to discuss recent advances, key scientific results,
