Dear All,

Many thanks to all of you who participated in the poll to decide the authorship policy of the flagship paper.  It is decided that the policy for its authorship will be:

"All the people who have made meaningful contributions to the Project (not just to the flagship paper) up to the point of the submission of the article.  The steering committee makes judgements on the contribution and decides the authorship."  

Attached is the breakdown of the voting results.  We sincerely appreciate your participation in the poll, and the project in general.  Thank you very much!

[1]  First round

Total number of votes: 39

- Option 1 (All the people who have signed up in the collaboration at the point of the submission) : 15 votes (38%)
- Option 2 (All the people who have made meaningful contributions to the Project, not just to the flagship paper, up to the point of the submission) : 19 votes (49%)
- Option 3 (Only the people who have made significant contributions to the text of the flagship paper) : 5 votes (13%)

[2]  Second round (run-off)

Option 3 was eliminated, and the votes cast to Option 3 was then re-assigned to either Option 1 or 2 based on the next preference made in Q3.  

- Option 1 (All the people who have signed up in the collaboration at the point of the submission) : 15 votes (38%)
- Option 2 (All the people who have made meaningful contributions to the Project, not just to the flagship paper, up to the point of the submission) : 24 votes (62%)
