[santacruzgalaxy-list] Wrapping up the 3rd AGORA Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd Workshop of the AGORA High-resolution Galaxy Simulations Comparison Project was successfully held (Aug. 15-17, 2014) with 24 participants at UCSC and 10+ participants online in various breakout sessions.  We thank all the people who contributed to the discussion, especially those who led the breakout sessions including Oscar Agertz, Oliver Hahn, Alex Hobbs and Britton Smith.  We now ask you to please fulfill the following action items.

ACTION ITEM:

1.  Please read the following page carefully which summarizes the progress and consensus made in the Workshop.  Check out the important items in red color and follow the links there.

2.  If you have suggestions or objections to any of the items discussed now, please voice your opinion by Sep. 5 to the leaders of Paper Groups “2" to “4”, to the project coordinator, or to this mailing list.  After that, it will be assumed that the entire group is in full agreement with the plans that have been laid out.
