Dear Colleagues,

As was previously announced, the 4th annual AGORA Workshop will be held 21-23 August 2015 at UC Santa Cruz. We are very excited to have you visit UCSC! This workshop is sponsored by the University of California High-Performance AstroComputing Center (UC-HiPACC).

------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW:

While the program is not yet finalized and open for your suggestion, this year's workshop will very likely focus on writing and pushing out the isolated disk comparison paper (a.k.a. Paper “4”). It may also include a push for cosmological vanilla hydro runs (Paper “3"), cosmological ICs release and <100 pc DM-only runs (Paper “2"), and the AGORA SMBH implementation in each codes for upcoming cluster simulations.

- recent progress report on planned papers and working groups: sites.google.com/site/projectagoraworkspace/collaborative-documents/progress-report-7

We encourage the current and future participants of these efforts to participate in the Workshop. UC-HiPACC will provide travel support for a limited number of key participants who need it. If you wish to be considered for funding for your travel and local expenses, please contact Joel or Ji-hoon with details such as expected costs and your other sources of funding.

------------------------------------------------------
ACTION ITEM - REGISTRATION:

Please fill out the form (sites.google.com/site/santacruzcomparisonproject/reg) by July 5 if you are interested in attending the Workshop, in person or online. Please do so even if you already signed up for the Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshop, 17-21 August, so we can have an accurate head count. On Friday 21, the Galaxy Workshop and the AGORA Workshop will hold joint sessions.

Please feel free to contact us with any question. Forward this message to anyone potentially interested. Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
Joel Primack and Piero Madau on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee and the AGORA Steering Committee
