  Aim

While Switzerland remains not-associated to Horizon Europe, the SNSF 
Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 are for early-career researchers with 
Switzerland as destination. The scheme is open to all disciplines and 
topics, andis intended for young researchers who wish to consolidate 
their scientific training and pursue their academic career in Switzerland.

  Duration and funding

The duration of these fellowships is between 12 and 24 months. The grant 
includes the postdoctoral fellow’s salary with social security 
contributions, financial contributions to research, and conference 
costs. According to the 2021 Call document, project funds must not 
exceed CHF 24'000 for a two-year grant, but this information is to be 
confirmed once the 2022 Call document will be published.

	

	
	


  Requirements

Applicants can be of any nationality and from all disciplines. They must 
have a PhD degree and not more than 8 years of postdoctoral experience. 
They must not have resided or carried out their main activity in 
Switzerland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediatly prior to 
the submission deadline (1 December 2022), to be confirmed at the call 
opening.
Support letters from the host institution and the host supervisor must 
be provided.

	

	
	


  How to apply

Research Office will provide with a Toolkit at the*call opening,
