Hi Ji-hoon,
This 10th AGORA Workshop announcement is excellent — thanks for putting it together and sending it to santacruzgalaxy-list at lists.ucsc.edu <mailto:santacruzgalaxy-list at lists.ucsc.edu>.
Colin just created the 2022 Galaxy Workshop web pages, and they are now online at hipacc.ucsc.edu <http://hipacc.ucsc.edu/> under Conferences, or http://hipacc.ucsc.edu/GalaxyWorkshop2022.html <http://hipacc.ucsc.edu/GalaxyWorkshop2022.html> . This information may be helpful to people interested in participating, especially the list of people (under Participants) planning to participate in the Galaxy Workshop main week and also the previous and subsequent weeks. The Program will be posted later.
Avishai has asked us to tell him the names of key AGORA participants that we would like him to invite to participate in the 2022 Galaxy Workshop. Of course your message says that people who want to participate should talk to Avishai Dekel, but maybe we should think ahead about people would be most helpful to have participating. This should perhaps include especially AGORA people who participated in previous Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshops. Who do you and Santi suggest be invited?
Cheers,
Joel

On Friday 19, the AGORA Workshop and the Galaxy Workshop will hold joint sessions on high-resolution galaxy simulations. On Saturday 20, we will have working sessions for ongoing AGORA Papers, and a brainstorming session on Collaboration-wide topics. Registered remote participants will receive Zoom links for the Saturday morning discussion.

We also ask a student/postdoc to contact us who is interested in helping the future AGORA analysis! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we may not be able to host too many on-site participants; however, if you cannot make it, participants are definitely welcomed to join us on Saturday 20 via remote connection.

Please do so even if you've already been invited and registered to the Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshop (http://hipacc.ucsc.edu/GalaxyWorkshop2022.html <http://hipacc.ucsc.edu/GalaxyWorkshop2022.html>). There will be a nominal registration fee to cover the breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday 20. You will pay this fee when you register for the Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshop. (FYI, if you wish to join the Galaxy Workshop in-person, too, during the main week Aug. 15-19 and/or the preceding and following week Aug. 8-12 and 22-26, please talk to Avishai Dekel now and register separately.)

If you have any question, or would like to newly participate in any of the ongoing efforts in the progress report above, please contact the Project Coordinator (santacruzgalaxy at gmail.com <mailto:santacruzgalaxy at gmail.com>, Ji-hoon Kim). We look forward to seeing you in-person or online in August!
