Dear AGORA Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce that the 12th annual Workshop for the AGORA Project will be held online on Aug. 8, 2024 (Thu, 16:00-19:00 PDT).  This spring, the AGORA Collaboration held its first successful regional mini-workshop in Seoul, Korea.  Through this meeting and the subsequent telecon we have pushed hard for the next batch of AGORA Papers (VII - IX; “Mergers", "Satellite Quenching", “Disk Morphology”).  Partly for this reason, this year we will not follow the long tradition of holding an annual workshop immediately after the Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshop.  Instead, we will have an extended, 3-hour online workshop; for more information and the tentative agenda, visit the following page.

● Please use the Zoom link below to join us on Aug. 8.  We plan to have collaboration-wide live discussion on ongoing/future projects, focusing on Papers VII - IX and the “High-z Run".  Please check the 3-hour slot in your time zone; it is 16:00-19:00 PDT and 19:00-22:00 EDT on August 8 (Thu), or 01:00-04:00 CEST and 08:00-11:00 JST/KST on August 9 (Fri; see the attached image).  We thank Thinh, Ramon, and Minyong for their tremendous work pushing on their respective AGORA Papers!

● In the meantime, Santi is working hard to release our CosmoRun data at specific redshifts (3, 2, 1, 0) + the metadata (centers, general properties, merger trees) via FlatHub.  He plans to do so in the coming days, along with a release note posted on the arXiv.
