Dear AGORA Colleagues,
The 13th annual AGORA Workshop is fast approaching (Aug. 8-9, 2025), and we thank all those who will be joining us!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROGRAM & REMOTE PARTICIPATION:
The Workshop program is available in the link below. On Friday afternoon (Aug. 8), we will overlap with the Santa Cruz Galaxy Workshop in the "Event Center" and hear talks from galaxy simulation experts. On Saturday (Aug. 9), starting at 9:30 AM PDT, we will hold a Collaboration-wide brainstorming session and joint working sessions to: wrap up Papers “Mergers” and “High-z Run”, launch the “High-res Dwarf Run”, and discuss other ongoing and prospective projects, etc.

Zoom information for the Aug. 9 sessions is included at the bottom of this message. Please note that future correspondence about the workshop will be directed only to registered participants. If you'd like to be involved in the discussions but haven't registered yet, please contact the Project Coordinator. The latest Collaboration "progress report" and linked meeting notes will be updated in the coming days:

Special thanks to Thinh, Hyeonyong, and many others for their dedicated work on their respective AGORA Papers/projects!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FOR ON-SITE PARTICIPANTS ON AUG. 9:
On Saturday, Aug. 9, we will meet in ISB (Interdisciplinary Science Building) Room 221. The building is locked on weekends, but one of the first-floor doors will be left open in the morning. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided. We are also deeply grateful to Joel and Nancy, who will once again kindly cover the costs for the weekend portion of the workshop, and host the workshop dinner at their home (details to be shared on-site). For directions, parking information, and logistics, please refer to the Workshop website.

If you are interested in joining any ongoing AGORA efforts or would like to suggest additions to the program, feel free to reach out to the Project Coordinator (santacruzgalaxy at gmail.com). Thank you so much, as always, for your invaluable contributions to AGORA!
Sincerely,
Joel, Santi, and Ji-hoon
on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee and the AGORA Steering Committee
