Dear AGORA Colleagues,

Thank you very much for contributing to the 13th annual AGORA Workshop! We believe we had highly productive discussions on our ongoing papers and exciting new projects. We would like to sincerely thank Joel for his hospitality (once again!), and all those who actively contributed to the discussions — including Thinh, Hyeonyong, Minyong, BK, Santi, and many others!

Our meeting notes are available at the links below:

The following is the brief summary of the workshop:

● Papers IX-X and Paper “High-res Dwarf Run": Hyeonyong and Thinh will work toward the alpha release of their respective manuscripts soon — Paper “High-z Run” and Paper “Mergers”, respectively. Meanwhile, Hyeonmin, BK, and Ji-hoon will continue developing the new pathfinder run for “High-res Dwarf Run” after updating the IC and target resolution, and will define the scope of the first paper. We already have a 10-code team eager to begin the run, which makes us very excited about the project’s prospects! (Details can be found in the meeting notes.)

● More Future Papers” For projects like “CosmoRun-3” and “MHD Comparison” that many are excited to see, Santi and Ji-hoon will connect with several colleagues to identify a team leader who can shape the scientific rationale, rally the contributors, and coordinate the simulation effort. (Details in the meeting notes.)

● Future meetings: The 3rd regional AGORA workshop will be held May 25-29, 2026 at Lund University, Sweden, hosted by Oscar Agertz and Santi Roca-Fàbrega. Their first announcement is expected later this year. In the meantime, monthly telecons will resume in early September, with a scheduling poll to be circulated among the core participants.

We covered so much more in detail, so we encourage you to review the meeting notes above. If you have any questions or would like to join ongoing or future projects and/or telecons, please contact the Project Coordinator at santacruzgalaxy at gmail.com.

Thank you again for your contributions and continued support for AGORA!

Sincerely,
Santi, Joel, and Ji-hoon
on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee and the AGORA Steering Committee
