[AGORA-mailing-list] Scheduling AGORA Telecon (December)

Dear Colleagues,

As we continue to mourn the loss of our great colleagues and friends, Joel and Avishai — both of whom were driving forces behind the AGORA Collaboration — I hope you are all doing as well as one can during such a difficult time.  We are circulating this telecon-scheduling email to the entire Collaboration this time, in case more colleagues would like to be involved.  

Since our November telecon, there have been developments on multiple fronts.  To carry forward the torch that Joel and Avishai passed on to us, and to better coordinate our ongoing efforts — including pushing forward Paper IX “Mergers” and running the “High-res Dwarf Run” — we propose holding a telecon in early to mid-December.  We will also reserve some time to discuss and plan the path ahead for the Collaboration.

- Paper IX - “Mergers"  (Thinh et al. —> storyline/main figures identified, alpha release to start soon) 
- Paper X - “High-z Run”  (Hyeonyong et al. —> submitted to ApJ/arXiv:  https://arxiv.org/abs/2511.04435)
- Paper “High-res Dwarf Run”  (BK et al. —> first DMO composite figures made, hydro runs underway)
- Paper “CosmoRun-3”  (Weiguang et al. —> participant groups being identified after a soliciting email) 
- Next AGORA meeting in Lund  (presentation of the structure of the workshop; discussion and suggestions for an opening talk in memoriam of Joel and Avishai)

Please indicate your availability in the following scheduling poll by Nov. 28 (Fri).  Once we identify the best time, we will confirm the date and circulate a Zoom link.  Any further communication about the meeting will be sent only to those who respond to the poll this time and to the core group of comparison participants.
