[AGORA-mailing-list] Beta Release of AGORA Paper XI (Halo Morphologies)

Good start of the week everyone,

I wanted to announce and share a beta release of paper XI, which is focused on halo morphologies using our new Haskap Pie non-spherical halo finding algorithm: https://github.com/ksbarrow/Haskap_Pie

This paper has been in circulation for some time through the pre-alpha and alpha release process and has incorporated feedback from code leaders and a wide swath of the AGORA community, for which I am very grateful. The largest delay until now has been a comparison to a dark matter only version of the Cosmorun simulations, which was requested by a few people independently. Unfortunately, the dark matter mass resolution was not the same between the simulations so we were not able to quickly make a one-to-one comparison. We also ran into an issue with the tree itself that we will need to address. Therefore, we have decided to decouple that comparison from this paper so that we can move forward.

Other than this, we think the paper is nearing completion and would like to give everyone an opportunity to provide any last-minute feedback as well as ask for any changes to the acknowledgements or affiliations I should include before submission.
