Dear all,

We are excited to announce the second edition of the conference “Building Galaxies from Scratch: Advances and Challenges in Simulating Galaxy Evolution (BUGS2026)” which will take place in Heidelberg, Germany, from September 7–11, 2026.

We aim to bring together experts on various aspects of modeling galaxy formation and evolution with a focus on cosmological simulations, in order to discuss recent advances, key scientific results, ongoing challenges, and future directions.

The abstract submission is now open and will close on April 15th, 2026.
