[BDC-2010] branding ideas

For those of you still seeking ideas for branding, this site may help
stimulate ideas:

mouse-over the various examples (there are hundreds) ... also notice on the
right side are categories with thousands more ideas.

There's also an area with logo "elements" -- that is, there's a collection
of parts that you can mix and match to create logos and variations:

Just browsing the site gives you a sense of what a full branding profile
entails.
You're not expected to come up with such an extensive profile on your own.
Note that it's perfectly fine to use one of these and modify it to suit your
needs.
In fact, that's what this company's business does: help companies brand
themselves.
Granted, it costs some bucks, but that's another story.
